  KSU publishes the list of undergraduate programs for the 2026/2027 academic year by college and gender, including Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Engineering, Sciences, Computer and Information Sciences, Business Administration and Humanities.

  Model elements: the basic admission unit remains tied to a college or programme; for academically distinguished Medicine, Engineering and Computer programmes, continuation depends on the common first-year GPA.

  The college-allocation rules describe assignment after completing the common first-year programme in health colleges, scientific colleges, applied medical sciences, nursing and humanities tracks.

  Model elements: assignment after the common stage is calculated by a competitive formula where the common first-year GPA gives 50 percent, the aptitude test 25 percent and the achievement test 25 percent; the humanities track also applies college-specific terms.

  KSU separately describes transfer between common first-year tracks and direct-admission bachelor's programs: health, scientific, nursing, applied medical sciences, business administration and humanities tracks.

  Model elements: changing a track is possible, but it is handled through transfer rules and competition for available seats; this confirms the common stage but keeps the administrative constraints.

  The rules for transfer from one college to another require approval of both deans, while transfer from one specialization to another within a college requires approval of the dean and college rules.

  Model elements: changing college or specialization exists as an administrative procedure, but it is not a free programme-choice mechanism for all students.

  The Program Guide for the BSc in Information Technology describes a four-year degree with at least 127 credit hours, including university requirements, college requirements and department requirements.

  Model elements: the plan specifies 111 required credit hours and 16 elective credit hours; electives include university electives and 12 credit hours of concentration-track electives, with concentration choice after the fifth semester from software development, multimedia and data science tracks.

  CCIS describes the Minor in Artificial Intelligence as a 20 credit hour, 7 course programme with a preparatory course, four required core courses and two elective courses.

  Model elements: the minor is open only to selected colleges, excludes CCIS students, requires a cumulative GPA of 3.75 and prerequisite grade B, and admission depends on available seats; therefore it is a local flexibility mechanism rather than a university-wide major-plus-minor model.

  The College of Pharmacy states that it currently offers one university-level academic program, Doctor of Pharmacy, with a duration of six years.

  Model elements: this confirms the upper bound of undergraduate professional duration in the catalog; the last year consists of clinical training through elective courses.

  The King Saud University 2025 open-data dataset contains row-level enrolled-student records with gender, college and academic degree fields; the dataset page was updated on 13 March 2026.

  The catalog count includes only rows with degree البكالوريوس, 57,571 students. Master's, doctoral, fellowship and diploma levels are excluded; the specialist level is not used in the KSU model.
