  The official undergraduate catalogue says Exeter offers more than 200 undergraduate courses and lists admission routes by named degrees.

  The catalogue includes single subject and joint named routes such as BA Archaeology and Anthropology, BSc Computer Science and Mathematics, BA Politics, Philosophy and Economics, BMBS Medicine and MEng Engineering.

  The FAQ explains that a bachelor's degree typically takes three years, while an Integrated Masters degree combines bachelors and masters study in a continuous undergraduate programme typically completed over four or five years.

  Model elements: this is still a named degree admission model. I did not treat listed joint degrees as open double majors because they are advertised as fixed courses rather than a student designed second major system.

• Minors: Future Skills Pathways https://www.exeter.ac.uk/study/future-skills-pathways/

  The official minors page says minors provide an opportunity to build capabilities alongside the main degree.

  It says the pathway is formally recognised on the degree certificate, with examples such as BA Philosophy with a minor in Applied AI and BSc Mathematics with a minor in Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

  A pathway is available if the programme has 60 credits of elective module space across Stages 2 and 3, with 30 credits of minor modules in each of those years.

  Model elements: this supports programChoice 3, major plus minor.

• BSc Computer Science and Mathematics https://www.exeter.ac.uk/undergraduate-degrees/bsc-computer-science-and-mathematics/

  The programme page describes a named joint degree and gives a course structure with compulsory, Computer Science optional, Mathematics optional and Other Optional module groups.

  In year 2 and final year, the page lists 0 to 30 credits of Other Optional modules.

  It also says that each year, where optional modules are available, students can take up to 30 credits in a subject outside the course, and that Future Skills Pathways can be studied alongside the main degree through modules from another subject area.

  Model elements: this is evidence of broad internal course choice, but the named joint degree itself is not enough for programChoice 4.

• BSc Natural Sciences https://www.exeter.ac.uk/undergraduate-degrees/bsc-natural-sciences/

  The Natural Sciences page describes study across Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics and Physics.

  It says second year has a wide range of optional modules across physics, biology, maths and natural sciences, and that up to 30 credits may be taken from other relevant University modules with prerequisites and Personal Tutor agreement.

  The page also says students can spend time at a university abroad as part of the degree.

  Model elements: this is an interdisciplinary flexible pocket inside the named degree system.

• Go Abroad https://www.exeter.ac.uk/study/studyabroad/outbound/

  The official Go Abroad page is for current Exeter students and says the Global Opportunities Team facilitates student mobility across Europe and internationally through recognised schemes as part of the degree programme.

  The page links students to research placement, study abroad locations, fees and funding, applications, return guidance and academic coordinators.

  Model elements: this supports the existence of outgoing mobility schemes for Exeter students, but the credit mechanism is shown more directly on programme pages with Study Abroad variants.

• BA Politics with Study Abroad https://www.exeter.ac.uk/undergraduate-degrees/ba-politics/

  The BA Politics page includes a four year with Study Abroad variant where students may spend the third year abroad at one of Exeter's partner universities.

  The module table shows a compulsory 120 credit Study Abroad module, HAS3999, for the Study Abroad year.

  The page says credit for academic work during the year abroad is arranged by agreement between Exeter and the host institution, that marks are translated back into the Exeter degree, and that semester or full year study abroad counts toward the final degree.

  Strict cross-registration review: this source does not prove ordinary selection of individual external courses that can be credited into the degree record. It remains mobility or transfer context, while courseChoice is lowered to 3 based on verified broad internal electives, Flexible Zone, free courses or cross-faculty choice inside the university.

  The BMBS Medicine page gives the duration as 5 years.

  It describes a five year Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery programme with clinical placements and electives.

  Model elements: this sets the upper full time undergraduate professional duration used here.

  The HESA 2024/25 publication for The University of Exeter reports 20,320 undergraduates, 6,615 postgraduates and 26,935 total students. HESA figures are rounded to the nearest 5.

  The catalog field stores the undergraduate figure. The specialist degree level does not apply to the UK model, so specialist enrollment is stored as 0.
