  The official bachelor overview lists named TU/e bachelor programmes, including Applied Mathematics, Applied Physics, Architecture, Automotive Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Chemistry, Computer Science and Engineering, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Design, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Medical Sciences and Technology, Psychology and Technology, and Sustainable Innovation.

  Model elements: the ordinary undergraduate portfolio is organised around named bachelor programmes rather than an open-programme entry point.

  The official Program structure page gives the facts and figures for TU/e bachelor's education: 3 years, 60 ECTS per year, 45 ECTS of free electives in total and a Bachelor of Science degree.

  It says TU/e offers 15 different bachelor's degree programs and that each programme consists of a core program and electives.

  The core programme matches the field the student wants to specialise in and takes 75% of the bachelor programme; free electives take about 25% and may come from the student's own department or other departments.

  The study load table states that a bachelor's programme consists of 180 ECTS credits, with 125 ECTS core courses and final project, at least 10 ECTS ITec courses inside the core, and 45 ECTS free electives.

  Model elements: this supports courseChoice 3 by itself through a broad 45 ECTS internal elective area. It does not by itself prove double-major choice, because the ordinary programme remains a named core programme.

• Internal double diploma for bachelor students https://educationguide.tue.nl/programs/internal-double-diploma/bachelor-programs

  The official TU/e Education Guide defines an internal double diploma as a situation in which a student attempts to acquire the degrees and accompanying diplomas of several TU/e bachelor programs.

  The bachelor requirements say the internal double diploma must meet the requirements of both bachelor programmes, must have a minimum of 225 credits and a maximum of 270 credits, and must be approved by both Examination Committees.

  The procedure includes checking admission for both bachelor programmes, planning the programme according to TU/e and educational regulations, and submitting it to both Examination Committees.

  Model elements: this is the source for programChoice 4. I do not treat TU/e as programChoice 5 because the double diploma is an approved multi-programme route, not an open bachelor without a named core programme. It also sets the upper duration as 270 credits, or 4.5 years at 60 ECTS per year.

• Education at partner institutions https://educationguide.tue.nl/programs/education-at-partner-institutions

  The official TU/e Education Guide says that in elective courses students can choose to follow courses at partner institutions or participate in international challenges and competitions.

  The EuroTeQ section says students can enrol in courses and educational offerings at partner universities such as TUM, DTU, Ecole Polytechnique, TalTech, CTU and EPFL, and that the student journey includes requesting credit recognition from the exam committee and submitting the received grade to the department.

  The EWUU Electives via EduXchange section says TU/e offers more than 350 elective courses for TU/e students on the EduXchange platform and lets students expand beyond the boundaries of their own study programme. The EduXchange block says students can attend courses at Wageningen University & Research and Universiteit Utrecht and that earned credits are automatically transferred to the student's own learning institution.

  Model elements: this is direct evidence for courseChoice 4, because external partner-university courses can be chosen as electives and either recognised by the exam committee or automatically transferred.

• Exchange programs for studying abroad https://educationguide.tue.nl/programs/exchange-programs-for-studying-abroad

  The official exchange page says international experience can be obtained through a mobility period at one of the partner universities abroad, a BIP with a partner university, an internship, or part of a research or graduation project outside the Netherlands.

  It says Mobility Online is used to arrange applications to take courses, internships or research projects abroad, and that after a study abroad period the host university provides a transcript of records containing the study programme components followed, credits earned and grades.

  Strict cross-registration review: this exchange and study abroad page is kept only as context. The courseChoice 4 basis is not semester abroad, but the separate Education at partner institutions page, including EduXchange and automatic transfer of earned credits for partner-institution courses.

  The DUO Studenten wo, bachelor, master en postmaster file with the 1 October 2025 reference date contains Technische Universiteit Eindhoven rows for the bachelor education type.

  The sum of the published numeric 2025 values is 8,703 bachelor students. DUO statistically protects two unknown-gender rows as <5, so the public numeric sum may undercount by up to 8 students.

  The catalogue records the published numeric value. The specialist level is not used in the Dutch model.
