  The official bachelor catalogue shows Result 1-20 of 52 results and lists separate named Bachelor's programmes.

  The catalogue has filters for language, mode of study, numerus fixus and other programme attributes; ordinary entry is organised around a selected bachelor programme.

  This is boundary evidence for programChoice: the main programme is selected as a named programme, not through a university-wide common core with later major choice.

  The American Studies programme page gives the duration as 3 years (180 EC), full-time format, Bachelor of Arts and NVAO accreditation.

  The page also shows American Studies as a specialisation of English Language and Culture; this is a route inside a named programme, not a university-wide major choice after a common first year.

  The application procedure page says that applicants for a Bachelor's programme submit a request for enrolment in Studielink before the application deadline.

  It also tells applicants to check the admission requirements of the selected programme before applying.

  This confirms admission-level choice of the main bachelor programme and does not show an ordinary later main-major choice mechanism.

  The official page says that a Radboud student can take a minor in their own or another programme during the Bachelor's, including an interdisciplinary minor.

  It also says many Bachelor's programmes have a period in which students can take elective courses or minors in another programme, outside the faculty or interdisciplinary and earn credits towards the Bachelor's degree.

  This is the main evidence for programChoice 1: students keep the original bachelor programme but can choose a smaller minor component inside the ordinary degree volume.

  The American Studies page states that in the second year students decide themselves how to fill 30 EC of minor space with two 15 EC minors.

  It lists language and culture minors, interdisciplinary minors and additional minors from the student's own programme.

  In the third year, free elective space gives opportunities to take courses from other programmes, choose the educational minor, an internship or a stay abroad.

  This confirms post-enrolment choice and shows that minor and free space are embedded in the curriculum, not only a certificate outside the degree.

  The student page says that during a programme students usually have free space for subsidiary courses or minor programmes at another study programme.

  For Radboud students, a minor or subsidiary course within Radboud University is registered via Osiris, and the complete overview of all minors is in the Osiris education catalogue.

  The page explicitly says a minor may be at the student's own or another faculty, or even at another university.

  For another institution, students inquire about enrolment there, usually need proof of paid tuition fees, and after completing the course the transcript with elective courses is sent to STIP so results are processed in Osiris.

  The sum of the published numeric 2025 values is 15,310 bachelor students across full time and part time study. DUO statistically protects 4 rows as <5, so the public numeric sum may undercount by up to 16 students.
