  The catalogue lists more than 190 degree programmes and lets students combine individual subjects into a degree programme; application and admission details are shown for each degree programme.

  The list includes Bachelor 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% shape variations. This confirms formal subject combinations, but as degree programmes with application and admission rules, not as in-study major choice.

  The bachelor page distinguishes 100% single subject, two subjects weighted 50% each, and a 75% major subject with a 25% minor subject.

  The equal 50% + 50% model is not counted as programChoice = 4 because the official material describes a predefined subject combination within the bachelor degree structure, not a second-major choice after enrolment.

  On the program-choice axis, this leaves Heidelberg at programChoice = 0: the checked sources do not confirm a regular in-study choice or change of main specialization outside transfer procedures.

  The same page states that bachelor degree programmes may require compulsory modules, compulsory elective modules and elective modules; this provides general evidence of programme-level electives.

  For the checked bachelor major, the source states a 20-credit Cross-Disciplinary Skills module.

  Credits can be selected from offerings for auditors of all faculties, the key-skills unit, and other university courses with subject relevance; this confirms a free interdisciplinary elective block.

  The source supports courseChoice = 3 as a checked example of broad internal choice, but by itself it does not prove that this block is structured identically across all bachelor programmes.

  The Bachelor row reports 11,365 students. Total is calculated as Bachelor plus Staatsexamen Lehramt Gymnasien, Staatsexamen Lehramt an beruflichen Schulen, Staatsexamen ohne Lehramt, Diplome, Fakultätsprüfung and Kirchliche Prüfung, for 19,447 students.

  Master, Promotion, Abschlussprüfung im Ausland, Sonstiger Abschluss in Deutschland and Kein Abschluss möglich are excluded. The newer Students & Young Researchers page reports an aggregate 32,178 students for winter 2025/26 but does not provide a level split. German Staatsexamen is not stored as specialist enrollment, so specialist is set to 0.
