  The catalog page points to the LMU Degree Program Finder and shows that LMU publishes programs by degree level and study type.

  Bachelor programs usually take 3 years or 6 semesters and comprise 180 ECTS. Two-subject bachelor programs divide credits between a major and a minor subject, but this is program structure rather than proof of post-enrollment minor choice.

  Certificate programs are 1 or 2 semesters long and are chosen in addition to the primary degree program in which the student is already registered. They therefore are not counted as a minor inside the 180 ECTS bachelor degree.

  LMU describes one-subject bachelor's degrees with 180 ECTS and two-subject bachelor's degrees with a 150 or 120 ECTS major plus a required 30 or 60 ECTS minor; major and minor together must total 180 ECTS.

  The same document states that two-subject bachelor's degrees may require separate applications for admission-restricted major or minor subjects. This makes the minor an admission and program-combination component, not ordinary post-enrollment minor choice.

  The Digital Humanities certificate page lists the program type as Zertifikat/Aufbaustudium, 24 ECTS, and requires enrollment in another degree program, the Primärstudiengang.

  The page explicitly describes the certificate as an additional qualification to the student's undergraduate study. This confirms that the certificate program is not a minor inside the 180 ECTS bachelor degree.

  LMU describes program-specific regulations as the source showing which courses are compulsory (Pflicht) and which are optional (Wahlpflicht). This supports restricted elective blocks, not a broad university-wide free-elective catalog.

  The page explains that some programs have partly or fully fixed schedules, while in bachelor and master programs Annex 2 to the program regulations specifies which modules must or should be taken by semester; courses are found through LSF.

  THE lists LMU Munich at rank 34 in the World University Rankings 2026. RAEX-100 2026 is a Russian-university ranking, so the RAEX field is omitted for LMU.

  The official Students page reports 52,658 LMU students in winter semester 2025/26, including 31,721 female students and 11,658 international students.

  The page does not split enrollment by Bachelor, State Examination, teacher education, master's and doctoral routes. Checked federal GENESIS 21311 and Bavarian GENESIS 21311 tables provide either Hochschule without angestrebte Abschlussprüfung, or angestrebte Abschlussprüfung without Hochschule. I found no open table crossing LMU with degree level, so total and bachelor remain null. German Staatsexamen is not stored as specialist enrollment, so specialist is set to 0.
