  The official portal identifies Hanyang University and gives Seoul Campus at 222, Wangsimni-ro, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, Korea, and ERICA Campus at 55 Hanyangdeahak-ro, Sangnok-gu, Ansan, Gyeonggi-do, Korea.

  The Undergraduate Program block lists named colleges across Seoul Campus and ERICA Campus, including College of Engineering, Medicine, Nursing, Humanities, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Business, Education, International Studies, Technology Innovation, Engineering Sciences, Computing, Pharmacy, Advanced Technology and Convergence, Languages and Cultures, Communication, Business and Economics, Design, Sport and Arts, and LIONS College of Liberal Arts.

  Model elements: ordinary entry is organised around named colleges and programmes, so this does not support an open-programme classification. The medicine and pharmacy colleges are the reason to keep the upper duration at 6 years, consistent with the Korean undergraduate professional-programme context.

  The official Schools and Colleges page presents the Seoul Campus and ERICA Campus undergraduate portfolio as a set of colleges and departments rather than as a single open curriculum.

  The Seoul Campus page lists Hanyang YK Intercollege as an interdisciplinary college, but this is still shown as one named undergraduate unit among other colleges, not as the default admissions model for all undergraduates.

  Model elements: this supports the lower bound of programChoice below 5 and gives institution and location context for both campuses.

• Multiple and convergence majors, Seoul Campus https://academic.hanyang.ac.kr/-10

  The official Seoul academic guide defines multiple major as a system in which a student completes a second or third major in addition to the primary major and receives a degree certificate listing the primary major and the second or third major.

  It defines convergence major as an independent curriculum made by converging existing departments or majors, completed as a second major, with the resulting degree shown together with the primary major.

  The page says students with at least one valid semester of grades may apply, and that the scheme applies across Seoul Campus departments except specified professional or restricted units such as Medicine and Nursing for the multiple-major route.

  Model elements: this is direct evidence for programChoice 4, because a student may formally add another degree-bearing major, including a second or third major. I do not assign programChoice 5 because the route still starts from a named primary major and uses approval rules.

• Double major, Seoul Campus https://academic.hanyang.ac.kr/-12

  The official Seoul double-major page defines double major as a system in which a student who has met the primary-major graduation requirements does not graduate immediately, completes another major on the same campus or another campus, and receives a degree listing the primary major and double major.

  The page says the selectable departments are all Hanyang departments except specified medical, pharmacy, teacher-education and other restricted fields, and it requires at least two additional registered semesters after admission to the double major.

  Model elements: this corroborates programChoice 4 and explains why the upper duration can exceed a regular four-year plan for students taking the double-major route.

• Multiple-major guide, ERICA Campus https://ehaksa.hanyang.ac.kr/major

  The official ERICA guide defines multi-major study as completing another Hanyang major or convergence major in addition to the primary major to obtain a degree, while minor is explicitly not degree-bearing.

  The comparison table says multiple major, linked or convergence major, and double major all carry degree acquisition. It also says the double-major route permits cross-campus application.

  The same page describes micro majors of 12 credits and a wider menu of minors, multiple majors, convergence majors, linked majors and double majors.

  Model elements: ERICA follows the same high-level pattern as Seoul, so the university-level programChoice 4 is not a single-campus anomaly.

• Domestic credit exchange, Seoul Campus https://academic.hanyang.ac.kr/-15

  The official Seoul academic guide lists domestic credit-exchange partner universities, including Seoul National University, Korea University, Sungkyunkwan University, POSTECH, KAIST and others.

  It says regular-semester outbound credit exchange is allowed up to two times, with up to 20 credits per semester including Hanyang registration, and seasonal terms are allowed up to 6 credits per term including Hanyang registration.

  The range of exchange courses is described as all courses opened by the exchange university except service-related practice courses. External credits may count up to one half of graduation credits, and grades are recorded as credit-exchange courses and Pass or Fail.

  Model elements: this is direct evidence for courseChoice 4, because students may choose courses outside Hanyang at partner universities and receive recognised credits.

• Foreign university credit recognition, Seoul Campus https://academic.hanyang.ac.kr/-39

  The official Seoul guide covers exchange study, self-funded study abroad and language training at foreign universities. It says ordinary study at a foreign university can be recognised as registered semesters at Hanyang.

  Credits earned at foreign universities are processed according to the Hanyang curriculum, with up to 20 credits per semester and up to 40 credits per year recognised. Recognised credits may be classified as primary major, second major, minor, general education or free-elective credits, subject to prior approval where required.

  The procedure requires the student to enter completed foreign-university courses in HY-in, upload the foreign transcript, and submit materials to the department when major recognition is requested.

  Strict cross-registration review: foreign university exchange and credit recognition are treated only as secondary context. The courseChoice 4 basis is the domestic credit-exchange system for individual courses at Korean partner universities.

  The official AcademyInfo record for Hanyang University Seoul reports 전체 재학생수 of 16,432 in the 재학생 충원율 block as of 1 April 2025. The Hanyang University ERICA record with schlId 0000204 reports 10,890 in the same block.

  Together, the two undergraduate campus records give 27,322 students. This field uses the 재학생 충원율 block because nearby finance and faculty indicators are explicitly marked as 학부+대학원.

  The specialist level is not used in Hanyang's Korean model.
