  The General Rules state that IIT Delhi offers 15 B.Tech., 3 Dual Degree, 1 B.S. and 1 B.Des. programmes.

  Model elements: B.Tech students have compulsory foundation courses, departmental requirements and open category electives to broaden interdisciplinary knowledge or specialize outside the parent discipline.

  The UG Rules define B.Tech. and B.S. as 4-year programmes with 142-155 credits, B.Des. as a 4-year programme with 143 credits, and Dual Degree programmes with 178-200 credits.

  Model elements: B.Tech, B.S. and B.Des have open category credits open to student choice; Dual Degree has Open Category or Open Elective credits, with limits on OE.

  The UG Rules allow capable students to add courses of their choice and use additional credits for a Minor or Interdisciplinary Area Specialization, Departmental Specialization or Honours.

  Model elements: a minor or interdisciplinary area specialization is 20 credits in a focus area from another Department, Centre or School and successful completion is indicated on the degree; branch change is available at the end of the first year, subject to CGPA, first-year credits, course conditions, seat limits and merit order.

  The General Rules define Semester Exchange for a student registered at another academic institution in India or abroad with expectation of credit transfer or research work through a pre approved arrangement including an MoU.

  Model elements: exchange or deputation to another academic institution is a recognized semester status and the SE period counts toward the total period permitted for the degree.

  International Relations lists active student exchange partners including Chalmers University of Technology, City University of Hong Kong, Ecole Polytechnique, KAIST, Macquarie University, POSTECH, Simon Fraser University, DTU, Hebrew University of Jerusalem and University of Waterloo.

  Model elements: together with the General Rules on Semester Exchange, this supports external course choice through institutional student exchange rather than ad hoc individual transfer.

  The Prospectus states that undergraduate admission is through JEE Main and Advanced for B.Tech., B.S. and Dual Degree, and through UCEED for B.Des.

  Model elements: the same prospectus says IIT Delhi actively encourages student exchange programmes with foreign universities, from semester exchanges to year long programmes, and points students to the International Relations exchange page.

  The catalog stores the sum of those two rows, 4,880 students. The IIT degree model does not use the specialist level, so specialist enrollment is stored as 0.
